An Open Letter

To: Rep. Jodeh, Gov. Polis, Sen. Buckner

From: A constituent in Aurora, CO

May 5

Dear Colorado Legislators: See below a message I sent to Senators Hickenlooper and Bennett and Representative Crow regarding a letter our Rep. Iman Jodeh sent to these gentlemen which does not correspond to our needs as her constituents. Recently you received a Letter from Representative Iman Jodeh stating that “the essential and sole focus of the United States should be to facilitate the immediate release… …and the passage of extensive humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip” Please disregard this message from Rep. Jodeh. My husband and I believe the essential and sole focus of Rep. Iman Jodeh as an elected representative of citizens in her district should be on working on quality of life of her constituents -a large portion of which are seniors at Heather Gardens … High property taxes, exclusion of our community from the majority of CCIOA laws, prescription and medical costs, crime in our communities, rather than spending so much time and energy representing herself and her personal views in a conflict in the Mideast which has been going on since 1909 and before. Please continue your good representation of us with broad focus of our needs and concerns.
