I support the No Kings protests that occurred this weekend. The current administration is violating the founding principles of separation of powers and limited government that set America apart from the rest of the world and unleashed the potential of its democracy, and of dozens of democracies around the world that have looked to us for inspiration. America must retain its unique position; the rights and powers of the states, the houses of Congress, and the American people must be protected. Call off the federal military intervention in the states, restore Congress’ authority over the economy and war, and revive the nation and the world’s trust in the United States as the leader of the post war order.
