Shame on You for Supporting Defense Act With Ban on Transgender Care

It has just come to my attention that you voted for the FY25 National Defense Authorization Act which includes a provision including a provision that restricts coverage of gender-affirming care for transgender children of service members. I cannot believe that you would vote for a bill that includes such a measure. I am so deeply disappointed. We voted for you. I've been door knocking in the past for you (I went to Wisconsin this election). This is such a punch in the gut. Trans rights are under attack and you're just going along with it. For shame. When the most vulnerable are under attack it is our duty to stand up for them. I am sorry that this is not a professional or calm message but I've rarely felt this disappointed.
