Don’t nominate unqualified people for important roles.
To: Sen. Moran, Sen. Marshall
From: A constituent in Pittsburg, KS
January 6
As a Senator representing the good people of Kansas, you have a constitutional duty to protect the U.S. government from falling into the hands of unqualified and potentially dangerous people such as: Pete Hegseth—ousted from leadership roles in two military veterans organizations following allegations of financial mismanagement, aggressive drunkenness, and sexist behavior. Even his mother condemned his behavior. Tulsi Gabbard—publicly a Syrian President Al-Assad and Russian President Putin sympathizer and advocate.
Gabbard is compromised and a danger to our national intelligence community. Kash Patel— has called for firing the top ranks of the FBI, prosecuting leakers and journalists, and replacing the national security workforce with “people who won’t undermine the president’s agenda.” RFK Jr—well-known anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist who keeps repeating the long-debunked claim that vaccines cause autism in kids, along with his insistence that the COVID vaccine has killed more people than it’s saved (which, btw, are both lies). The Constitution (Article II, Section 2, Clause 2), gives the Senate the power of “advice and consent” over a president’s key appointments. Advice and consent requires careful screening, not outright submission to the will of an incoming president. So the questions before you are: Do you have the integrity to refuse to confirm these atrocious nominations? Will you uphold your Constitutional duty to protect this nation?
Show your integrity and protect the country by voting NO on all of these nominations.
