Impose an arms embargo on Israel for ignoring US state department demands

The humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels, with reports of imminent famine due to Israel's continued blockade and seige. Despite demands from the United States to urgently address the crisis, Israel has failed to meet the minimum requirement of allowing 350 aid trucks per day into Gaza. This blatant disregard for human life and international law is unacceptable. Israel's actions are exacerbating an already dire situation, leading to widespread suffering and loss of innocent lives. The people of Gaza are being collectively punished and denied their most basic needs to food, water, and medical care. This amounts to a grave violation of the Geneva Conventions and constitutes a form of collective punishment against a civilian population. In light of Israel's refusal to comply with reasonable demands of the United States, it is imperative that concrete measures are taken to hold Israel accountable. An immediate step would be to impose a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel until it fully lifts the blockade on Gaza and allows unrestricted humanitarian access. Continued military support and assistance only enable Israel's flagrant violations of international law. It is a moral imperative to end the unconscionable suffering in Gaza. Decisive action must be taken to pressure Israel to respect human rights and uphold its obligations under international humanitarian law. An arms embargo on Israel would demonstrate a commitment to protecting civilians and upholding the rule of law. www.palestinechronicle.com/gaza-scorecard-israel-failed-to-meet-us-deadline-on-deteriorating-situation/ I demand you do everything in your power to: – Hold Israel accountable to a permanent, immediate ceasefire and for their repeat violations of international law – Call for the immediate end of Israel’s occupation and apartheid - Support Palestinians in their fight for freedom and peace – Secure the immediate release and safety of all hostages, including Palestinians held by Israel in "military prisons", including those whose indefinite detention began prior to 10/7/24 – Permanently end all monetary, diplomatic, and military aid given to Israel and enforce U.S. laws like Leahy Law and the Arms Export Control Act – Resume full funding of UNRWA and allocate more funds to aid humanitarian efforts to rebuild Gaza, and provide Gazans with humanitarian aid – Immediately withdraw all U.S. troops, military assets, and all other assets deployed throughout the Middle East and cease all actions that further escalate a larger regional conflict - Void all anti-BDS laws and other laws that infringe on my right to freedom of speech to criticize any political ideology or country, and to use my money in ways that align with my values
