Sen. McCormick, it appears that you are not doing your duty as one of my elected representatives in the Senate. As of today, you have accepted everything that President Trump is doing as normal. You are voting to confirm cabinet members that have publicly outlined harmful agendas for our democracy. Pennsylvania is looking at you to do more than rubberstamping the President’s choices. Pennsylvania is counting on you to put an end to the hostile takeover that Elon Musk is enacting on government agencies. Have you thought about engaging in productive debate with your colleagues in the Senate to study what is happening and to defend the system that our beautiful Constitution has established for the nation? There is no king in America, but there appears to be a number of congresspeople who are excusing themselves of the hard work it takes to defend a system with three co-equal branches of government. I encourage you to do your job so that history will look at you with pride, not shame.
