The administration just lowered tariffs on Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, and Land Rover from 25% to 10%. Meanwhile, American automakers, especially those with factories in Mexico and Canada, are still getting charged 25% tariffs under the USMCA. That means it’s now cheaper to import a UK-made luxury vehicle than a car built with American parts by American workers. What do you plan to do and WHEN do you plan to get involved with these tariff negotiations? Recall, this is your job as a member of Congress. I want a response please. All of my previous emails on tariffs have been ignored; I presume that is because you are a coward and can’t actually answer the question – please find some courage and respond. You work for me and all your other constituents – you are a coequal branch of government and do not work for the administration.
