It is unconscionable to withhold funding for food assistance. SNAP is a vital program that ensures that roughly 42 million Americans, including hungry children, receive enough food to eat. USDA can draw from contingency reserves and temporarily reallocate available nutrition funding to protect funding for this critical program. The Administration should release those funds to ensure that families can put food on the table. I demand you immediately and publicly call on USDA to fund SNAP!
