If there is anything that yesterday's blue wave told us, its that WE SHOULD NOT CAVE. We are only asking for ONE Simple thing on the budget bill. To keep funding Healthcare. Personally, I feel that is a major mistake, we should have asked for Much more, as I don't want my tax dollars going to illegally kidnapping people off the streets and militarizing blue cities. Republicans don't want ANY compromise. They want us to cave on all their points. The fact that so many red districts flipped to blue yesterday in so many races, the fact that Mamdani won the mayoral race in NYC despite being unapologetic about his progressiveness, his immigration status, and his faith. Add the turnout for the most recent No Kings protests, and this all adds up to the fact that us Americans DEMAND our freedoms back. This would be the absolute worst time to capitulate to the republicans in the senate and pass the budget bill. We are watching, and you can be assured that any democrat who votes against We the People's best interest WILL BE PRIMARIED.
