Please perform a manual audit and recount of ballots in North Carolina from contested counties. Given the historic early voter turnout, new registration and energetic voter participation this election, coupled with undervotes across the country, there is a high probability of tampering with vote count this election. The stakes have never been higher, and efforts to validate with a manual recount should be taken immediately to validate that the results are accurate. If the results of the election are legitimate, then so be it. But the country is about to be forever changed. You owe it to the people to be absolutely sure that this is the outcome that was expected. In 2016 and 2020, the Republican Party cried voter fraud repeatedly. This year they are silent in light of their victory. I understand the desire to not appear hypocritical, but I am simply advocating for validation. Choose 10 counties and spot check the votes against the official reports provided on election night. Confirm they line up. You have 70 days until the inauguration. Be sure.
