The Nexstar owned Albany area ABC affiliate has continued to refuse to air Jimmy Kimmel Live, even as Sinclair stations have returned to broadcasting the show. This censorship of a prominent media figure does a grave disservice to those of us in the region who still depend on broadcast television for our news and entertainment. There actions are undemocratic, self-serving and authoritarian. Congress, and New York State government need to look into their actions and urge the station to consider the needs of the viewers and region.
