Budget Resolution
To: Rep. Issa
From: A verified voter in Escondido, CA
February 18
As a concerned constituent, I am writing to strongly ask that you do not vote Yes on the upcoming spending bill proposed by the Trump administration and House Republicans.
The campaign promises of many Republicans would be to drive down costs for everyday Americans. Gutting programs such as Medicare and Medicaid for the purpose of giving tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans is antithetical to that campaign promise.
If you vote Yes for this spending bill in its current form, I will do everything legal in my power to ensure you are voted out of office in the next election cycle.
