Hello, I’m your constituent from San Jose California. Due to the passage of the president’s budget, the following communities are now ineligible for food assistance: refugees, asylees, survivors of human trafficking, survivors of domestic violence, and other noncitizens. The U.S. has long provided SNAP support to those fleeing persecution in their home countries. I urge you to ensure that our neighbors receive the support they were promised and need.
