Congress needs to block the incoming Republican from taking office

To: Sen. Van Hollen, Rep. Trone, Sen. Cardin

From: A verified voter in Frostburg, MD

January 1

Elected Official, Congress could stop Trump from becoming president under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. According to the Electoral Count Act, first passed in 1887 and updated in 2022, Congress has the authority to act. If 20% of Congress signs a petition objecting to the electoral votes for a specific candidate, and a majority of both the House and Senate approve that objection, then those electoral votes won't be counted. I fully expect you to immediately take this action and report back to me exactly what you did. You work for the people, this is your job.
