ICE’s oppressive arrest and detention tactics must be stopped. As journalist Mark Joseph Stern said: “ICE has abandoned almost all the trapping of a lawful arrest. Its officers cover their faces, conceal their identities, use gratuitous force, and transport their targets across state lines to stop courts from intervening. The distinction between an ICE arrest and criminal abduction is disappearing.”
