Healthcare Costs Are Increasing

To: Sen. Moody, Sen. Scott, Rep. Rutherford

From: A verified voter in Saint Augustine, FL

December 9

About 4.7 million Floridians are covered by the ACA marketplace, the largest number of any state. That represents about 27% of our under-65 population, and most of these individuals receive subsidies to help with costs. Open enrollment for 2026 coverage is underway, and people who get their insurance through the Affordable Care Act could see their monthly premiums double or even triple. Some may delay signing up, hoping lawmakers intervene before year’s end, while others could forgo coverage altogether. Every single Republican member of Congress from Florida voted to deny ACA Healthcare Supplemental Coverage. Re-instate ACAC Healthcare SUBSIDIES!
