Constitutional Crisis

To: Rep. Cole

From: A verified voter in Norman, OK

February 5

I am writing to voice my alarm around what’s happening! An illegal seizure of the US Treasury Department computer system has taken place by Elon Musk and his six young engineers who have no experience in government! The illegal breach of our data by an unelected individual is dangerous and an assault on our system. We are told that those young inexperienced engineers are writing code into the payroll system that millions of Americans and government rely on potentially causing a glitch in the system. Only Congress has the power of the purse so why is the Republican Congress staying quiet while Elon Musk usurps Congressional authority! This is an illegal data breach of our personal information and a real threat to millions of Americans. Since when does Congress remain quiet while we are threatened! Does Congress no longer work for the American people?! An illegal seizure of the USAID has also taken place by an unelected official which has national security information on it! This is illegal and dangerous. Why is the Republican voice silent?! The USAID is a department of Congress and can not be eliminated by executive order! Where is the voice of republicans Congress! The Middle East is angered by our threats to Gaza. Are we trying to escalate war in that area as this is not going to go down well! There appears to be a very intentional take down of our country taking place while Republican Congress remains quiet! Will Republican Congress abdicate their responsibility to serve the American people?! It looks that way! The American people will not quietly consent to this! Please do your job! You are here to work for us! You are here to work for Democracy!
