The president-elect has made much of his plan to pardon those convicted of crimes related to the January 6, 2021 insurrection on the United States Capitol. Where are you? I have not heard you speak out against such foolishness. Many of those convicted damaged the building and grounds of the capitol OR assaulted, injured and threatened members of the guard and police officers. The very idea of commuting sentences or offering outright pardons is anathema to our way of life in this republic. Sir, you claim to support the rule of law. You have further said you support law-and-order. How can you allow the very criminals who attacked our Capitol to roam free and conduct more offensive and deadly crimes. Please speak out publicly against the idea of commutations and pardons for the J6 criminals. Support the idea of keeping those convicted of violent crimes behind bars to serve their full sentences.
