I am writing to urge you not to agree to end the shutdown for a PROMISE to vote on continuing the ACA subsidies for Americans needing health care coverage. Remember, in the current age, Republicans think nothing of lying and breaking promises when their cruel leader pressures them. Even though the current situation is painful for many Americans, capitulating to the draconian GOP-supported cuts without at the same time getting something tangible in return would be even worse in tge long run. Please make them own it and get an agreement in writing for a concession that makes things better for us all. I appreciate how hard you are working to get this resolved.
