Release full Mueller report to uphold rule of law
To: Pres. Biden

January 8
The public interest demands full transparency regarding the Special Counsel's findings on former President Trump's alleged wrongdoings. Releasing only part of the report undermines accountability and erodes trust in democratic institutions. Suppressing information about the classified documents case raises suspicions of a coverup and plays into the narrative of a two-tiered justice system – one for the powerful and another for ordinary citizens. The American people have a right to know the complete truth. Publishing the full, unredacted report is crucial for upholding the rule of law and ensuring no one, regardless of position, is above it. Selective disclosure serves no purpose other than protecting those who may have broken the law. Concealing the facts does a disservice to the nation and emboldens those who would further undermine democratic norms and processes. Decisive action to make both volumes public is imperative. Failing to do so signals a concerning unwillingness to hold even former presidents accountable for unlawful conduct. Sunlight remains the best disinfectant – the American people must have all the facts to judge for themselves and render an informed verdict. The foundations of the republic are at stake. The full report must be released without further delay.
