An Open Letter

To: Rep. Palmer, Pres. Trump, Sen. Tuberville, Sen. Weaver, Gov. Ivey, Sen. Britt, Rep. Paschal

From: A constituent in Alabaster, AL

Just a reminder, since the DC people do not seem to know this... The United States has five major, permanently inhabited territories: Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam. These territories are not states and have their own local governments, but they are also subject to U.S. federal law. The people born in our territories are US citizens. Someone needs to teach a history, government, and geography class at tge White House.
