The Senate must firmly reject Matt Gaetz's potential nomination for Attorney General. His well-documented unethical conduct, including alleged sex trafficking of a minor and misuse of funds, renders him unfit for such a critical role overseeing the fair administration of justice. An Attorney General must uphold the highest standards of integrity and impartiality, qualities Gaetz has severely lacked. Confirming him would severely undermine public trust in the Department of Justice and the rule of law. For the sake of justice and accountability, the Senate has an obligation to block this deeply troubling nomination.
