Cease Israel's violence against Palestinians and enforce accountability.
The ongoing violence and atrocities committed by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza are truly horrific and cannot be tolerated. The grim statistics provided paint a devastating picture - over 17,000 children killed, entire families wiped out, and a severe humanitarian crisis unfolding. This systematic targeting of civilians and disregard for human life is inexcusable. It is imperative that immediate action be taken to hold Israel accountable and pressure them to end their genocidal campaign in Gaza. We cannot continue funding and providing military aid to a regime engaged in such egregious human rights violations. All financial and military support must be cut off until Israel complies with international law and respects Palestinian human rights. Furthermore, I urge the implementation of severe sanctions against Israel to compel them to end their illegal occupation and oppressive policies towards Palestinians. The unlawful detentions of civilians like Dr. Hassam Abu Safiyeh must also be condemned, and their immediate release demanded. The devastating toll of Israel's actions can no longer be ignored. Concrete steps to cut ties, enact punitive measures, and prioritize human rights over military interests are crucial to ending this cyclical violence and bringing justice to the Palestinian people. Continued inaction enables these atrocities to persist unabated. This could end with a single phone call. The fact that an ADDITIONAL $8 BILLION arms deal is on the table is an abomination. How do you sleep at night? I certainly can’t.
