I am writing to express grave concern over President Trump's alarming proposal to forcibly displace millions of Palestinians from Gaza to create a so-called "Riviera of the Middle East." This unconscionable plan would flagrantly violate human rights and international law prohibiting the forced transfer of civilian populations. Permanently removing over 2 million Palestinians from their homeland against their will constitutes a form of ethnic cleansing that cannot be tolerated. This draconian scheme has rightly sparked global outrage, with condemnation from key U.S. allies like Saudi Arabia, France, Russia, and others who recognize that such actions would severely destabilize the region. Carrying out Trump's plan risks igniting new violence and extinguishing any hope for a just two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I urge you to unequivocally reject this abhorrent proposition and uphold the internationally accepted right of Palestinians to self-determination in their ancestral lands. A stable Middle East requires respecting the human rights and dignity of all peoples, not forcibly displacing them.
