I am writing to ask you to vote no on House Resolution 7.
HR7 opens the floodgates for anti-abortion legislation. It’s disguised behind paternalistic language to protect women but is pushing a dangerous, anti-choice agenda.
It includes language that “healthcare for women should also address the needs of men.” And pushes for enshrining Pro Women’s Healthcare Centers as the federal standard of care. PWHC are dangerous, politically driven organizations and have no place in healthcare or being protected in federal legislation.
If this resolution passes, it will be used as a precedent to erode the rest of our rights, including access to necessary medical care. Please oppose this legislation at all costs, and encourage your fellow House members to do so as well.
