support the health of americans

To: Sen. Johnson, Rep. Moore, Sen. Baldwin

From: A constituent in Milwaukee, WI

November 1

write I am writing as a deeply concerned constituent. Without an extension of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) premium tax credits, millions of Americans will face health insurance premiums they simply cannot afford. The consequences are life-threatening: people will go without essential care, delay treatment, and in some cases, die because they cannot pay for the medical attention they need. These tax credits are not a luxury — they are a matter of survival. Extending them would: Save lives by ensuring access to necessary health care. Protect families from financial ruin caused by unexpected medical emergencies. Support public health by allowing more Americans to receive preventive care and treatment before conditions become critical. The stakes could not be higher. I urge you to act immediately to extend these premium tax credits and ensure that no one in our state or country is forced to choose between paying for basic necessities and staying alive. Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter.
