Congressional representatives have a duty to assure that the executive branch does not violate the constitution. It's one of the ways our founders assured we would be protected from a dictator. You need to do your job or you are complicit in letting our democracy die.
If you want to axe federal spending obligations, have the courage to do so yourself through proper mechanisms, not by sending in “President” Musk and his teenage helpers to do whatever they please, violating all protocols and principles of our constitution as well as network and data safety practices. They are writing code on live systems!! There are many intricacies in each of these offices they cannot understand. Why are they not collaborating with people who know what’s going on? Why do they not require approvals? Why have all the inspectors general been fired without you saying a darn thing about it?
What are you doing???
You are giving away your own power. He won’t give it back to you later, you know.
