How can one celebrate Christmas knowing the birth place of Christianity is under a genocide? I am writing to urge you to stop funding Israel. The continued bombing, sniping and destruction of life throughout Palestine and increasingly throughout the region is not only a gross crime against humanity, it is making the US more and more insecure. There is absolutely no justification for the continued funding of Israel when by their own soldiers admissions they are assaulting children, attacking hospitals, and completely destroying everything in their path. I am appalled by senator Duckworth's continued support of this genocide. I thank senator Durbin for his vote to stop three weapon shipments to Israel, and representative Ramirez' continued advocacy for Palestinians and human rights. More must be done to end this genocide. History will look back on back on this time and judge you harshly. There is not enough AIPAC funding to ensure you can sleep at night with this genocide at your hands. Your constituents are demanding you stop funding Israel.
