Reject Kennedy Nomination, Threat to Public Health
To: Sen. Kennedy, Sen. Cassidy
From: A constituent in New Orleans, LA
November 16
I understand the grave concerns over Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s potential nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services due to his promotion of dangerous anti-vaccine misinformation and pseudoscientific views. As an influential voice in the anti-vaccine movement, his leadership could severely undermine public health efforts, erode trust in medical authorities, and dismantle critical agencies like the CDC and NIH from within. Putting someone who spreads deadly lies about public health issues in charge of the nation's health policies would be catastrophic. We cannot afford to legitimize harmful conspiracy theories or prioritize fringe beliefs over scientific evidence, especially during potential disease outbreaks and pandemics. For the wellbeing of all Americans and to maintain our pandemic preparedness, Kennedy cannot be given this level of authority over our public health infrastructure. His nomination poses an existential threat that must be firmly rejected to protect scientific integrity and save countless lives. Appointing him would represent a damaging regression that jeopardizes modern medicine and public safety standards. I urge you to stand against this nomination and preserve our commitment to evidence-based policymaking and robust health protections for all citizens.
