Please protect Medi-Cal access in the budget. Do not impose a $2,000 asset limit in Medi-Cal for older adults and people with disabilities. Do not strip asylum seekers from full-scope Medi-Cal. A $2,000 asset limit prevents people from having any savings, putting them one emergency away from financial ruin. Stripping people of their full-scope Medi-Cal means that they won’t be able to get IHSS or critical preventative healthcare. Californians will suffer and our state will experience financial issues down the line if people are not taken care of!
