Please review the decision to suspend all USAID programs, especially the medical aid treatments in progress. I cannot support Secretary Rubio’s statement that these clinical trials advance “a liberal agenda” or are contrary to US interests. How in the world are medical treatments focused on malnutrition, malaria, AIDS, breast feeding and the like contrary to human interests. This is an appalling decision. USAID has delivered care and programs directly in US interests since its inception under President Kennedy. Mr. Trump, you seem hell-bent on exercising cruelty. This 73 year old American stands in opposition to your policy.
