Multiple reports indicate most people are struggling to afford vital health insurance for the coming year. Today, I received a statement for January and the news was shocking. This year my premiums are $177 monthly. Beginning in January, that premium for myself only rises to $1,265.55 which is too expensive to afford. At age of 63, there are not many other options for inclusive coverage. Please work immediately to restore ACA subsidies such that Texans can insure their families, protect loved ones and cope with the ever increasing price of healthcare. I encourage you to speak out publicly in support of these subsidies as they are essential for the health of Texans and our communities. Thank you for your kind consideration and good day.
