Day 145 of a Letter a Day to End Forced Birth

With the SCOTUS decision in the Dobbs case, you as an elected representative are in the hot seat. If you have passed legislation that forces pregnancy and birth, those human rights violations are now active law that YOU are responsible for. Roe v Wade cannot shield you any longer. If you have opposed forced birth but not taken action to protect human rights, you are now responsible for the fact your reliance on Roe v Wadw has caused tens of millions of Americans are subject to being subjected to forced birth. It is now your duty to act in concrete ways to protect the human rights of your fellow Americans. You, like us, cannot rely on the Supreme Court. For this and many other reasons I am writing a letter a day until we end forced birth by writing abortion access into law.
