Ten year old rape victims experiencing additional trauma because they are forced to travel hours from home, simply because religious extremists said she can't have an abortion in her home state.
This is the horror show that forced birth enthusiasts have spent millions of dollars to achieve. This is the harm they have sought to inflict for decades.
Ten year old rape victims, forced to give birth. Think back to being ten years old. Now imagine the life changing, terrifying, body disfiguring event of pregnancy -- after the horrors of having your body violated by someone you trusted.
That is the fate the Republicans worked so hard to inflict on a little girl in Ohio.
For this and many other reasons I am writing a letter a day until we end forced birth by writing abortion access into law.
