It is time to pass the budget reconciliation bill and the Build Back Better plan provisions in it. Those provisions focus on helping to build back America’s middle class through improving support for children and families with child care subsidies and universal prekindergarten, by expanding health coverage, increasing housing assistance and investing heavily in combating climate change. It’s time to put aside political differences, stop political posturing and substantively help everyday Americans. Now is the time to do the job you were elected to do.
