Over the past two months, I have written 59 letters to my state and federal law makers and executives. Each of these letters has driven home the point that forced birth has no business being an American practice.
Each of these letters has been an open form letter, where my fellow Americans are able to easily send a copy to their state and federal officials. This has happened 1807 times over the last 59 days.
That's an average of just over 30 letters a day, sent to representatives across the country, for 59 consecutive days. This type of sustained interest in an issue could either be a wonderful asset to your next campaign, or a major liability.
Most Americans believe in reproductive freedom. They believe in the decision to have children should be made at home, not in some legislative chamber or governor's office. This is why I'm writing a letter a day until we end forced birth by writing reproductive freedom into law.
