Support H.R. 6929: Bridge the Digital Divide with ACP Funding

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) actively addresses the digital divide, a significant equity issue. It provides access to high-speed broadband and internet-enabled devices for millions of low-income individuals, including racial and ethnic minorities and people with disabilities who disproportionately lack such access. The proposed H.R. 6929 bill, which aims to allocate $7,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2024 to the Affordable Connectivity Fund, deserves support and passage. This funding will empower the ACP to continue its essential work, ensuring that those who need it most remain connected. By passing this bill, we can address the inequities in digital access, providing opportunities for all, regardless of their economic status or identity.
