I Do Not Approve of or Support Redistricting Commission Actions

I am writing to make known my disapproval of the Redistricting Commision's actions this week. Particularly: I observed Speaker Bob Cupp and Senator Matt Huffman excuse themselves from the commission prior to the decision to ignore the Ohio Supreme Court order. I observed Secretary Frank LaRose explain in painful detail how he orchestrated an election crisis by refusing to delay until constitutional maps were drawn. I observed Governor DeWine sit as if he were a helpless bystander while this went on, displaying no leadership and no effort to steer the commission to a lawful course. I will be continuing in the fight to hold these individuals accountable both by every legal recourse available and at the ballot box in November -- gerrymandered and unfair maps notwithstanding.
