Dear Senator, As we honor the life and memory of John Lewis on the one year anniversary of his death, and applaud the courage and conviction of the Democratic Texas House members who have taken their fight for voting rights to D.C, we call on the U.S. Senate Democrats to stand up and protect the right to vote in this country. As Ari Berman, champion of voting rights stated, "If Mitch McConnell can steal 2 Supreme Court seats for Trump with 51 votes to take away voting rights, Senate Democrats should be able to pass legislation with 51 votes to protect voting rights." The only way this happens is if we reform the filibuster. Before it's too late. Thank you.
