DO SOMETHING, PLEASE. Make some constructive history.

I remain very concerned - and have sent letters before - about Corporate Personhood, Money-as-Speech, Citizens United, and their influence on everyone who has risen according to various forms of the American Government’s success paradigm to elected office, to prominent positions in our government. It seems to me that our culture promotes minimal accountability at the top for breaking principles, oaths, and laws for which we who work/worked in Federal jobs would and do get in severe trouble. These are the leaders who keep away from “too much progress” toward making our government one of The People - all The People - rather than of The Prosperous. It’s not an odd thing - it’s how the landowners and industrialists, with the help of pundits, pastors, and politicians, have played this game forever. But Trumpism and insurrection show the game has gotten worse, and the manipulation has become ridiculous. I want Congress to go to jail when they’ve broken laws and incited such in their constituents so flagrantly. And I want the remnant of untainted Congress to get off their asses and do something about this. I’m sorry. You’re leaving a world for our children that is worse than the one you found - even though you’re doing it by leaving the super-prosperous alone.
