I am a patron of independent restaurants in Massachusetts. I am writing you today regarding the expiration of ordinances related to Cocktails to-go, Delivery Cap Fees and Patio extensions into city property that will end when state of emergency is lifted. While I appreciate the work of the legislature and the governor's office the past 14 months, eliminating these regulations is a crippling blow to an already untenable financial situation for thousands of businesses in the Commonwealth. We hope that we can ask you for your support and ask that you please consider voting YES at your next meeting.
