An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Senate CV-19 Relief Bill

6 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers!

The Senate Bill for Coronavirus relief is a study in absurdity. It slashes unemployment benefits when they are still desperately needed and includes funding for the Pentagon, including funding for combat aircraft. While fighter jets are certainly a force to be reckoned with, they are not, to my knowledge, typically well known for fighting viruses. I implore you to consider the needs of the American people. They need to pay rent. They need to eat. They need to be able to vote and educate their children safely and possibly from home. They need healthcare. Please do right by your constituents. Thank you.
