COVID-19

I am writing to you in order to convey my frustration with you, your party, and most of all your President. The current administration has taken something as simple (and life saving) as wearing a mask and turned it into a divisive political statement. As you know, because you too have seen the science, masks are what will allow us to really open our state and our country. American citizens are refusing to wear a mask because President Trump did so first. You were elected to lead and protect, but you are standing by while our right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” is at risk. You are not doing your job by allowing the Republican Party to endorse a President (and a candidate) that will not lead by example. By not holding President Trump accountable, you are allowing Americans to die. Our lives are in you hands.
