Provide Aid to Dependents Who Still Have an Income

11 so far! Let’s get to 25 signers!

I am a college student that has lost their job because of the pandemic. I'm twenty years old. I live with my parents, but I still pay bills and insurance and my own groceries on top of gas for my car. This sets me back because I don't have a job until May because of the virus. This stimulant bill would have helped me with the things I needed until the end of this. I'm the oldest of four and my mother is the only one that has a steady income of my two parents. Because she claims me as a dependent I don't qualify for this payment. This should not be the case and does a disservice to high school, college, and disabled people who all still have jobs. This is disappointing and will set me back because I know I will have to struggle to get back to where I was because of this with almost no aid from the government that so callously left the people it was elected to represent and protect stranded. Do something to fix this so that ALL those in need get what they need.
