An open letter to the U.S. Senate Principal or person? Which will it be for you?
6 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers! The Senate should hold off until after the election to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Republicans chose and set this precedent in Feb 2016, ten months before an election, when Mitch McConnell said it was "about the principal, not the person."
Now in 2020, McConnell's recent plans too rush a SCOTUS replacement just two months before an election proves his 2016 comment was a lie. It was never about the principal, always the person.
So, will you choose to encourage Mitch McConnell's lie and monumental hypocrisy? Instead, I hope you will choose to remember your principals.
Thank you for your time,
Greg
