Solidarity and the Ending Qualified Immunity Act

58 so far! Let’s get to 100 signers!

In response to the ongoing protests regarding the undeniable pattern of police brutality against minority communities, I urge you to support the Ending Qualified Immunity Act written by your colleague, House Member Justin Amash. This bill is a step towards holding those police officers who violate human rights with their brutality accountable for their actions. Racism in this country is widely systemic and we need to stand together in abolishing that racism. I am also calling for your support of Texas protestors. I hope you all agree that racism a violence within our police system is a major issue, and in order to abolish this broken system we need the support of our elected officials. As protestors across the country have been saying, there will be no peace if we do not achieve justice.
