An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Let us Honor Justice Ginsburg

31 so far! Let’s get to 50 signers!

In the wake of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s heartbreaking death, I ask you to follow Lisa Murkowski’s lead and vow not to vote on a new appointee to the Supreme Court until after Inauguration Day. As you know, Justice Ginsburg dictated a statement before her death: “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.” We don’t know what will happen on Election Day, but at the very least, we owe it to Justice Ginsburg and to the soul of our nation to wait to appoint a new Justice.
