An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Insist on the passage of the Emmett Till Antilynching Act

144 so far! Let’s get to 250 signers!

There is nothing controversial in the passage of an antilynching bill. There is nothing confusing about outlawing extrajudical killings. If you truly believe in due process and the U.S. Constitutional rights afforded to all Americans, you will support the passage of the Emmett Till Antilynching Act. You should be offering not only your own full support, you should be doing so loudly and insisting upon this common decency from your fellow senators. Vote for this bill and insist your colleagues do the same.
