An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Black Lives Matter

14 so far! Let’s get to 25 signers!

The continued murder and attempted murder of unarmed black civilians is a human rights atrocity. Police are killing without compunction or any consequences for their actions. Police are by and large undereducated racist and power hungry. Police need to protect the communities they serve not kill members of that community. Congress must act to make sure Police are held accountable. Body cameras are not enough. Police must be arrested for murder. The so-called good police must stand up to the racist killers in their midst. Please support Black Lives Matter. Please work to divest the police and reinvest in education, public housing, and social work. As my elected official, I am begging you to act before another black person is killed by police.
