Presidential response to the Minnesota Riots

This morning the President repeated Walter Headley's famous "when the looting starts the shooting starts" line that preceded the 1967 Republican convention. Not only was this comment egregious in its call for extrajudicial violence, it has a long history of being a part of racist and violent behavior by law enforcement. The President also threatened to use the US military to carry out these extrajudicial murders. He must be strongly reminded that this would violate the Constitution of the United States and that fanning the flames of violence is morally reprehensible and dangerous.
